Ha Ha Tonka
Ha Ha Tonka is the unmistakable indie-meets-Southern rock band comprised of Brett Anderson, Lucas Long, Brian Roberts, Chris Mason and Nick Siegel. Formed in West Plains, Missouri, Ha Ha Tonka specialize in disarming and effortless anthems that owe as much to high and lonesome Ozarks mountain music as chugging college rock. The band is named after Ha Ha Tonka State Park in Camdenton, Missouri and in 2023 self-released their new album Blood Red Moon. Link

Justin Larkin / The Ozark Cobras is Justin, a singer, songwriter & multi-instrumentalist from Springfield, Missouri performing here with JrSOAPbox and Eric Howell. Together, they are a collective of independent songwriter/multi-instrumentalists from the Ozark hills of southwest Missouri.
The Creek Rocks
Cindy Woolf was raised in Batesville AR, along the southern foothills of the Ozarks Mountain region, and Mark Bilyeu hails from Springfield, located atop the Ozarks Plateau. They began their musical collaboration in 2003 with Mark at the helm for Woolf’s debut CD “Simple and Few.” They married in 2013, shortly after the release of Cindy’s third solo CD, “May.” Mark Bilyeu was a founding member of the family band, Big Smith. Big Smith released seven CDs during their tenure, and Mark has a solo album to his credit, 2005's "First One Free."
The Last Monarchs of Fall build melodies from the humid sun and burning fields of the Arkansas Delta based in Jonesboro. Weaving together folk, rock, and indie music, their songs celebrate the intricate facets of human experience, harnessing the power of love, loss, joy, and the profound beauty of life's most ordinary moments. Formed by husband-and-wife duo Rex and Heather Langley in 2020, what began as a way to save their sanity during the pandemic became an eclectic and life-affirming tribute to the origins of the Dead’s bluegrass roots. One More Dollar has honed its craft and reputation as a rockin’ roots based folk music group traveling all over the Midwest. Coming from their home base of Springfield Missouri, this unique musical blend of old and new come together in what can only be described as Americana of the Ozarks, or as they call it, Ozarkana. Multi-instrumentalists, Alisha Thomas, Robert Adkison, and Jeremy Myers have an instrumentation that is “something different” yet brings the culture of the Ozarks one foot stomp at a time with fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, and cello having innovating arrangements of original music and new takes on traditional favorites. Led by Shannon Stine and Natalie Wlodarczyk, The Shandies’ studio-produced music includes elements of pop, rock and even the country genre. When they perform live, however, The Shandies strip everything down to just two guitars and two voices, performing their music in a heartfelt, folksy style. Link

Casey & The Atta Boys is passionate about bluegrass and bringing their love of music to new people and places. They write a lot of their own material and put twists on others. Finding inspiration all around, Casey and the Atta Boys try to make music that is representative of themselves and inspiring to others! Casey Freeland leads and plays bass alongside her husband Kelly Freeland, Andrew Morton, Justin George and Becca Sein. Link
Singer/songwriter Maddi Warren grew up in Blue Eye, Missouri, a small town nestled in the Ozark Mountains. Alongside her sister Alli Butler, they formed an acoustic duo playing shows across the US from the riverbanks of the Mississippi to the east coast. They finished a western tour in July 2023, playing shows from Missouri to Montana. Their harmonies flow effortlessly, coupled with a strong bass line, a suitcase drum kit, and an acoustic guitar. “I am a folk punk artist from the Ozarks. I am Sober, in my twenties and really good at making the situation awkward.” Moselle was lucky enough to be surrounded by nature growing up in NW Arkansas. In ‘Pesticides’, Moselle invites listeners into her personal struggle with substance abuse while connecting with the beauty of nature. This song becomes a touching snapshot of her journey, seamlessly connecting her thematic exploration with her distinctive blend of ‘90s and early 2000s folk and punk rock influences. It serves as a canvas of raw emotion, woven intricately with Moselle’s poignant vocals reminiscent of artists like Dolores O’Riordan of The Cranberries. Link

With a voice that echoes vulnerability and strength, Eric seamlessly blends alternative vibes with raw authenticity.” He plays with the band Folxway and plays fiddle with The Deadgummits, in addition to performing his own collection of original songs.

Expert foragers from MO.M.S. are here to guide you through the pristine flora of the woods surrounding Highlonesome. Join Rob Wunder on a guided hike, stop by their specimen table during the festival, or just ask them a question about an interesting toadstool you may have stumbled upon. These expert naturalists are here all weekend and their knowledge spreads like mycelium over the course of the weekend.
Paul Landkamer—Entomophagist
Wondering what to do with all those Cicadas piling up in your yard? Well, this is a special year for those on the lookout to expand their gustatory palette. If you haven’t tried meal-worm Rice Krispy treats or Japanese Beetle stir-fry, then you haven’t yet met Missouri entomophagy enthusiast, Paul Landkamer. . Cicadas are some of Paul’s favorite free meals in nature—and he is here to tell you all about it and share in this year’s bountiful harvest. He’s here all day Saturday—so find him on vendor’s row and bring a fork!

Hartsbend Studios is based in Hartville, Missouri. Beth Rosenkoetter's main focus is to create works that people can view and feel...something. With her pottery, it is even more tangible through the weight, balance, and design that a person can hold on to and use daily...a comfort.
