Following the Saturday Night Headlining set, come to the storytelling hour at the Forest Stage.
All attendees are invited to spectate or contribute to the storytelling performance:
This year the theme is: “...the moment everything changed.”
We seek real-life, personal stories of 5-10 minutes derived from this theme. Tales can be sentimental, geopolitical, science-steeped, soaring and triumphant or dark and despairing.
Stories are meant to be told, not read; practiced and honed, but not rehearsed verbatim.
Hosted by Nathan (Nate) Carr and dubbed the "Fireside Chronicles of the Black Walnut Fellowship," storytelling at The Highlonesome Music Festival is inspired by storytelling programs such as The Moth, This American Life, and Snap Judgement.
